What Is Downtown Trick-or-Treat in Valparaiso?
Downtown trick-or-treat is an annual event that is held in Valparaiso, Indiana to celebrate Halloween. It is hosted by Valparaiso Events. During the event, trick-or-treaters and their families go door-to-door (or stand-to-stand) to grab gadgets and tasty treats from area businesses and organizations. As an added perk for visitors, the Valparaiso Parks Department provides free hayrides.
Who Participates in Downtown Trick-or-Treat?
It is not just downtown businesses that contribute to the Halloween fun in Valparaiso. While various restaurants, retail stores, and other businesses in the downtown area join in on the celebration, other local businesses and organizations set up in Central Park Plaza and around the courthouse to hand out treats as well.
