Our father and mother taught us the importance of giving back. This was one of the most meaningful lessons we learned growing up here in Valparaiso, and it’s a lesson that’s stayed with us until today.
Our Indiana lawyers are committed to giving back to uphold those important lessons learned so long ago.
Our family owned a store in town and we would see families just like ours who had gone through a tough time, such as a fire, or maybe just a hard season on the farm. Our dad would take them through the store and give them groceries, sometimes even new clothes for the entire family. He never talked about it. He just did it. It was just being a part of the community. These days, our family doesn’t own a store, but we’ve learned to give back in other ways.
In the past, whether it’s through a personal passion like Lakeshore PAWS, an organization Michael and Kim Langer provided volunteer services to, or through a community-wide event like the Charity Choice Competition at the Popcorn Festival that raised thousands for local charities, the principle is the same, we’re committed to the community, so we’re committed to giving back.
We’ve been active in all of the following events, just to name a few:
